I began my career at 45 in the Addiction Studies Program at East Los Angeles College, a single class that evolved into a master’s degree in psychology and a 15-year career in addiction and mental health services. I’ve advanced from driver to counselor to program leadership, managing PHP/IOP, RTCs, and family therapy. Grounded in CBT and solution-focused care, I now also serve as an adjunct professor at ELAC. With 15 years of sobriety, I bring lived experience, empathy, and deep gratitude to the work.
