Welcome to the Next Step
Completing treatment is an incredible milestone, and it’s just the beginning of your journey. It’s often said that staying sober in treatment is easier because of the structure, support, and community around you. Once you return home or transition to a lower level of care, that’s when the real work begins.
That’s why we created the EMEND Alumni & Aftercare Program. We’re here with you every step of the way, providing support, connection, and encouragement as you continue building a life of recovery.
The Check-In Call
Shortly after discharge, someone from our Alumni Team will reach out to check in with you. We want to ensure your transition into your next step, whether that’s a lower level of care, outpatient support, or returning home is as smooth as possible. We’re here for you, so don’t hesitate to pick up the phone when we call.

Alumni Events
Recovery isn’t just about hard work it’s about rediscovering joy. That’s why we host fun, engaging alumni events throughout the year. These gatherings help you stay connected, celebrate milestones, and remind you that having fun in recovery is not only possible, it’s part of the journey.
Alumni Support & Mentorship
One of the greatest strengths of our community is alumni helping alumni. Through programs like Sober Soldiers, graduates who are thriving in their recovery can step in to support newer alumni as they find their footing. Sharing your story, offering encouragement, or simply showing up for someone else can make a lasting difference.
Staying Connected
We encourage alumni to share their stories with us, with one another, and even with current clients in treatment. Your voice has the power to inspire hope and show what’s possible in recovery.
We also offer ongoing alumni support groups and opportunities to volunteer or mentor, giving you meaningful ways to stay engaged with the EMEND family.
The EMEND Alumni Family
No matter which EMEND treatment center you attended, you’re part of something bigger now, the EMEND Alumni Family. We’re united by shared experiences, mutual support, and the belief that recovery is possible for everyone.
Together, we can walk this journey one day, one choice, one victory at a time.
